I build this tea chest from solid black walnut. The lid sits on brass hinges and opens to eight compartments, so each kind of tea has its own spot. I finish it inside and out with a food-safe oil that protects the wood and brings out the grain.
Box Dimensions: 12.5" x 6" x 4"
Each compartment is 2.75" x 2.75"
I make every box by hand in my shop in Mesa, Arizona, so the grain on yours will look a little different from the photos. If you have any questions, send me a message.
